Ad and Lead-Buyer Acceptance Policy
This page sets out the standards we apply to lead-marketplace buyers (venue advertisers) and to any third-party advertising we display (e.g., AdSense in a future phase). We reserve the right to refuse any business or any ad that does not meet these standards.
1. Who can be a lead-marketplace buyer
To purchase leads, you must:
- Operate a real venue listed on corporateevents.at, OR be a contracted booking agent for one or more such venues.
- Be a registered legal entity (LLC, corporation, sole proprietorship with EIN/SSN on file) located in the United States.
- Provide a verifiable business email matching the venue domain (preferred) or a notarized affiliation document.
- Pay via Stripe with a valid US-issued business card or ACH.
- Agree to our Terms, TCPA Notice, and this Acceptance Policy.
2. What lead-marketplace buyers must do
- Honor TCPA quiet hours (no contact before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. local).
- Respect immediate STOP requests; record on internal Do-Not-Contact list.
- Never share, sell, or repurpose a purchased lead beyond responding to that single inquiry.
- Respond to leads within 24 hours during business days; if unable to serve, mark as "decline" (no penalty).
- Accurately represent your venue's capacity, services, and pricing.
- Resolve disputes (planner complaints) in good faith.
3. What lead-marketplace buyers must NOT do
- Bait-and-switch (offering a different venue or service than represented).
- Charge or pressure planners for any fee related to the lead introduction itself.
- Discriminate against planners based on protected class (race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, etc.).
- Add planner contact info to general marketing lists or sell to third parties.
- Misrepresent affiliation (claiming to be a venue's official booking agent when you are not).
- Create multiple accounts to evade lead-cap limits or reviews.
4. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate any buyer account for material violation of this policy, with or without prior notice depending on severity. Common triggers:
- 3+ verified TCPA violations within 90 days.
- Confirmed lead resale or marketing-list contamination.
- Payment fraud or chargebacks without good-faith effort to resolve.
- Pattern of planner complaints (5+ verified in a 30-day window).
Suspended balances are forfeited only in cases of fraud or repeated serious violations. Otherwise, unspent balances are refunded after a 30-day review period.
5. Third-party advertising (AdSense)
Phase 1 of the Site does not run any third-party advertising. Beginning in a later phase, we plan to run Google AdSense in a moderate placement pattern (3 slots per page, all reserved-size, lazy-loaded) once the Site has the required content and traffic to qualify.
When AdSense is enabled, we will:
- Disclose its presence in this policy and in the Cookie Preferences page.
- Require explicit consent for advertising cookies via the cookie banner.
- Use Google's Restricted Data Processing for California residents who opt out of "sharing".
- Comply with the Better Ads Standards and Google's publisher policies.
- Reject any specific advertiser categories that conflict with our values (see §6).
6. Categories we will not accept (lead buyers OR ads)
- Adult content, escorts, sex work.
- Gambling (regulated industry — separate policy if pursued in future).
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons (separate vertical handled by sister site rangeadvisor.com).
- Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or unregulated CBD/THC.
- Predatory financial products (payday loans, debt-relief scams).
- Multi-level marketing recruitment.
- Cryptocurrency speculation, ICOs, NFT speculation pitches.
- Misleading health claims, snake-oil supplements.
- Politically partisan organizations seeking to use the directory for canvassing.
- Hate speech, content targeting protected classes.
7. Editorial independence
Lead-marketplace participation does not affect a venue's listing visibility, organic search ranking on the Site, or eligibility for user reviews. We do not let advertisers buy positive reviews, suppress negative reviews, or modify their listings beyond fields they can edit after claim approval.
8. Reporting violations
To report a TCPA violation, lead resale, or any other policy breach by a corporateevents.at buyer, email [email protected] with subject "Buyer report" and the venue/buyer name. We investigate every credible report within 5 business days.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to active buyers via email at least 14 days before the effective date.
